Served a bizarre Community Protection Notice by the Council, yours attended an appeal in the Magistrates' in March where not a word was allowed in defence, but told to return in June (Friday 6th) - the Beak wouldn't even disclose ‘is name! What happened to accountability? Point is that he looked very much like Malcolm Pearson JP who gave yours a criminal record, back in 2016, for litterpickin’ our own High Street! Does anybody know this guy? Does the gentleman ‘have an issue’? Is 'e, for instance, a doggie?

Update: Friday's hearing (6th June) saw the Council’s case thrown-out and the appeal allowed! Judge Wilkinson considered that the Council's use of a CPN was not appropriate, there was no evidence presented and that there were no [adverse] consequences for the community; central issue of the neighbour’s pet, though, does remain ... .
